Why these numbers

The Bullet is long, heavy and long in the wheelbase — the best high-speed stability of any of the muscle cars, and the worst agility. Its slides build slowly and take distance to gather, so the setup buys rotation for the slow corners: a soft front anti-roll bar and a stiffer rear bar free the nose, extra front camber wakes it on turn-in, and a long Final Drive trades launch for top speed.

The Differential is still the biggest lever, and it runs opposite to instinct: locked on loose, opener on grip. Once it is sliding, steer with the throttle and be patient — a car this long does not snap back quickly. Brake Pressure’s scale runs 50–150%, so 100% is mid-travel, not the maximum.

Why these changes

Asphalt rewards the Bullet’s stability at speed. The springs and bars stiffen, brake pressure climbs, and the car drops closer to the road, but the front bar stays soft relative to the rear to keep the reluctant nose turning. The diff opens up on grip so the long rear stays progressive on exit.

Use the long gearing on the straights and brake early for the slow corners — the Bullet makes its time carrying speed, not diving into hairpins.

Why these changes

Gravel sits close to the hybrid, and the loose surface helps the long car rotate. Let the momentum work for you — steer it with the throttle and keep corrections small, which matters on a pad where a big stick input overshoots on a slide this slow to gather.

Point it early, commit, and drive out; do not try to hold it dead straight.

Why these changes

Mud is the lowest-grip surface and the long car feels its worst here — reluctant to turn, slow to gather a slide. Soften the springs and raise the ride height to clear the ruts, keep the rear bar stiff relative to the front to buy rotation, and lock the diff up to drive both rear wheels.

Slow it well before the corner and give every input time to take — a heavy cruiser punishes rushing.

Overview

The Bullet is a 1970 Dodge Charger — long, heavy, and riding a long wheelbase at around 1,795 kg. That layout gives it the best high-speed stability of the muscle group and the worst agility: it is slow to rotate, and once a slide starts it builds momentum and takes distance to gather. You steer this one with the throttle and plan your slides early.

How it drives

On tarmac the Bullet is rock-steady in a straight line and through fast corners, but it is reluctant to change direction. The long wheelbase and front weight mean it takes a set slowly, so you set the car up early, get it pointed, and drive out on the torque with mild power oversteer. Slow, tight corners are where it struggles most — it simply does not want to rotate at low speed.

On loose surfaces its slides are long and lazy. Once the rear steps out it carries a long way before it hooks back up, so smooth, early inputs beat quick flicks — commit to the slide and ride it rather than trying to snap it back.

In a pack the Bullet is a tank. Its length and mass make it hard to shift, and its high-speed stability lets it hold a line through contact that would unsettle lighter cars.
